This the first winter after we purchase our first home in Wisconsin. I never thought I'd miss mowing the lawn, but shoveling snow in -27 windchills at 5:30 this morning made me dream of sweat running down my forehead while pushing my lawn mower back and forth across the beautiful backyard.

If the groundhog is listening, please hear my pleas and bring us good news next week. Let's try to avoid breaking any records this winter.
