On Wisconsin...

ESPN.com recently posted a great article about an activity I participate in quite often during the fall months - Wisconsin Badger football games. The caption on ESPN.com read "A Perfect College Sports Weekend," and referred to last weekend's Homecoming route of rival Minnesota (where my brother goes to school). The article does a great job of describing what football weekends in Madison are like and made me appreciate how lucky I am to get student tickets for around $20.
While you're at ESPN.com, check out this article about Wisconsin running back P.J. Hill.

that's all fine and dandy, teirney, but aren't you only showing half of the picture? what about the band being suspended for for all their antics? would you really want your children joining the UW pep band???
i expected a more balanced approach from a law review editor, to be quite honest.
p.s. i should mention i found a way to watch the UW football games online, and none of your lawyer ethics will talk me out of it...
first of all, "lawyer ethics" is a great oxymoron. second, i feel ethically obliged to point out that most of the band incidents happened two weeks before homecoming weekend on their trip to the big house in michigan. therefore, i would argue that they need not be factored into my analysis, which focused on badger football games in madison.
oh sure, rationalizations and semantics. that would never happen at north central university.
